Bertha Park North Link

Springfield have formally notified the Council as per a clause in the Section 75 Agreement that they will not be taking up the option of delivering the section of road between Bertha High School and the new junction forming the end section of the CTLR phase 2. In this regard it will be for the Council to complete the scheme. The Strategic case for the Phase 3 link has already been set out as part of the wider business case for the entire Perth Transport Futures project although further work will be required to develop the design for the link and any associated impacts at a later date. It will be a project that, with other competing priorities, will need to be considered by the Council through the Capital Budget process.
