Project Update – June 26 2023

A9 update

Traffic running under contraflow on the new A9 northbound.

Removal of old redundant A9 carriageway.

Commencing earthworks for southern tie in of the new southbound A9 carriageway.

Earthworks complete for northern tie in of new A9 southbound carriageway.

Commencing construction of southern drainage pond. Excavated material is being used to build up southern tie in.

Installation of steel reinforcement bars and shutters for eastern parapet walls for the A9 overbridge.

Tay Crossing Update

Installation of formwork in preparation for east pier of Tay Crossing concrete pour.

Continue excavating down to formation level of west pier piles before construction of pile cap can commence.

Pile installation continued for west abutment of Tay Crossing.

Link Road Update

New A93 roundabout open to traffic.

Surfacing beginning between Stormontfield Road to A93.

Preparation for surfacing on eastern side of Stormontfield roundabout.
