Works this week on site have seen the ongoing construction of Ruthvenfield Roundabout at the end of Inveralmond Industrial Estate. Drainage works are taking place here, as well as earthwork fill and utility works.
Earthworks are also taking place around Structure S02 bridge over the River Almond. With the main concrete deck of S02 now complete, work is now focusing on installing the concrete edge copes and concrete parapet support beams.
Works were completed this week in-filling the now redundant town lade culvert under the A9. This was achieved through a combination of earthworks fill and foamed concrete, pumped in from either end as well as from the central reserve of the A9.
Earthworks fill has recommenced to the west of structure S01 bridge over the A9.
On the east side of S01, the formwork has been stripped and waterproofing applied to the concrete wingwalls ready for backfilling operations to commence next week.
Elsewhere, work is progressing on the construction of the loop road off the Crieff Road, and earthworks are taking place to widen the new section of road to the Crematorium.
