Work has been progressing this week on the construction of the embankment to the west of the A9. This has now reached the height of the existing A9 in preparation for pilling works to commence for the new bridge.
Construction is also underway of the embankment to the east of the A9 with lightweight fill material.
Work is ongoing on S04 Lade Culvert, with steel reinforcement continuing to be installed in preparation for the first concrete pour which is due towards the end of next week.
The preparatory works for the construction of S05 culvert under the A9 is also well under way with the steel reinforcement and scaffolding being erected in preparation for works to begin on the A9 on Monday 27 February.
As a result, from Sunday 26 February, lane closures will be in place on the A9 between Inveralmond and Broxden roundabouts for a period of 18 weeks. Further information can be found on this website and regular updates will be available on twitter @ptfutures1
