Work on the construction of the Phase 1 of the Perth Transport Futures Project started in late September 2016. The works will take around 2½ years to complete with the estimated completion date in March 2019.

Balfour Beatty, one of the UK’s largest and most experienced contractors has been awarded the £35million contract for the construction of Phase 1 of the Perth Transport Futures Project. The contract, awarded on 26 August 2016, has been procured by Perth and Kinross Council through the Scape Civil Engineering and Infrastructure National Framework.
